Fleetwood Mac is MusicCares ‘Person of the Year’

The legendary band Fleetwood Mac will be honored as this year’s ‘MusicCares Person of the Year’ ceremony, January 26 at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. The award is bestowed by the Recording Academy (The Grammy people) to a person or entity that reflects the true meaning of giving and combined values through music. The Imagine Dragons and Portugal. The Man will help honor the members of Fleetwood Mac on the 26th.

The night will be filled with Fleetwood Mac tributes and songs, played by additional stars like the Zac Brown Band, Miley Cyrus, Alison Krauss, Harry Styles, One Republic, Lorde, and Haim. Hey, that’s an all-star contemporary cast! The show will raise money for financial and medical assistance to earlier artists in need.

Previous winners of the ‘MusicCares Person of the Year’ award have been Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen. Write it down, January 26 at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
