If you never bought the Cranberries debut LP ‘Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’ in 1993, no worries as what’s old is now new again. Although the band Cranberries lost their lead singer Dolores Riordan in January of 2018 to an accidental drowning, they suspect she was quite intoxicated at the time of her death.
The band delayed the release of their new LP which includes Dolores’ vocal tracks recorded that week, and now there is good news from the band. The Cranberries are planning on releasing as a box set, the remastered debut 1993 ‘Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’ album.
‘Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’ will be a four-CD box set, a complete celebration of the LP that gave the world the chart-busting tunes “Dreams,” and “Linger.” They also plan on releasing a brand-new album in 2019 using the vocals Dolores laid down in London the week she died.
