Music makes you feel good; songs remind us of our best times and our worst days. Music can lift the spirit of an Olympian, and the heart of a fifth grader in gym class. Music also makes us feel good. Here are more ‘feel good’ songs that we love to hear…
“Spirit in the Sky” by Norman Greenbaum almost wants to make you go to church.
The sings “Oh How Happy” by the Shades of Blue, and “Eminence Front” by the Who are classic road trip songs.
“Itchycoo Park” by the Small Faces is fun, a little psychedelic, and gives you the freedom to sing in the shower. How about “Devil in a Blue Dress” from Mitch Ryder, or “Gimme Some Lovin’ from the Spencer Davis Group? None better than these two songs for sure.
“Classical Gas” by Mason Williams was an exception to the music that was on the charts when it rose to popularity. The song is an instrumental, a classical guitar tune, barely three minutes long. This song was uplifting and memorable, making us feel so good when we heard it.
