Eric Clapton has Announced A North American Tour in September

Eric Clapton has officially announced that he will be performing for a run of shows in North America that will happen in September and feature support from Jimmie Vaughan. Clapton will begin the brief tour in Pittsburgh on September 8th, followed up by performances in Toronto, Canada, St. Louis, Missouri, St. Paul, Minnesota, and Denver. This marks the second time that Clapton has teamed up with Jimmie Vaughan, who is the older brother of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Tickets for the shows will be available starting on March 31st. With the current lineup of Clapton’s band including Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack, Nathan East, Sonny Emory, and Chris Stainton, with Sharon White and Katie Kissoon on backing vocals. A press release has stated that this will be Clapton’s only North American performances for 2023.
