Eminem has earned yet another platinum certification as the 8 Mile soundtrack just earned its 6th platinum certification on November 17th, from the Recording Industry Association of America as the project just hit it’s 20th anniversary on October 29th. To honor the milestone, Eminem put out a deluxe version of the 2002 project on October 28th. The 8 Mile Expanded Edition features all 12 of the songs originally featured on the soundtrack, along with instrumentals of each track.

He followed up the re-release with a pop up event involving his Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant, the New York City pop up ended on Sunday, November 20th after ten days in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. The name of the restaurant is taken from Eminem’s hit “Lose Yourself,” that came from the battle rap film, from November 8th, 2002. The track went on to be the first rap song to win Best Original Song at the Oscars back in 2003.
