Ed Sheeran is now officially an engaged man! Ed just got engaged to longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, the moment captured under the British skies, and he’s pretty excited, writing on Instagram that he has himself a new fiancé. Cherry is the woman that stood by his side a few years ago as Ed needed personal attention to recover from a bicycle accident, and the two have actually known each other since school but weren’t an item until 2015.
This is the perfect way for Ed to kick off 2018; his 2017 was an incredible year, filled with songs on the charts, records weeks of chart history for the single “Shape of You” and record sales. It may get even better for Ed with the Grammys coming up in less than a week.
