According to billboard.com, Drake celebrated his son Adonis’ fifth birthday via a social media post on Tuesday, October 11th alongside a photo. Drake wrote, “Happy 5th to my twin,” and used a crossed finger and sparkling heart emoji while showing off Adonis’ super-hero themed party. Adonis’ blonde hair was in matching cornrows with his dad, and he got to play basketball while dressed in a red and yellow cape and even met Spider-Man at his party. Drake used a handheld camcorder to record every moment of it.
Many of Drake’s friends flooded his comments with birthday wishes for Adonis, with DJ Khaled writing, “Young king !!!! Happy bday !!!!,” and Chance The Rapper commenting, “Happy Birthday to the lil man” along with two birthday cake emojis. Nicki Minaj also joined in saying, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUTE BOY!!!!!!!”
Meanwhile, Drake added another Number one to his collection of chart topping tracks on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart, with “Jimmy Cooks” that featured 21 Savage, the chart was dated for October 8th. Earlier on this week, Drake made the announcement that he will play his first dates in Chile and Argentina as a headliner for Lollapalooza’s 2023 iterations in those countries mentioned as well as Brazil.
