After a significant hiatus, Donald Glover, known musically as Childish Gambino, has excited fans with the announcement of not one, but two upcoming projects. During a recent Gilga Radio stream on Instagram Live, Glover shared details about his plans for an updated version of his last album, titled “Atavista,” which reimagines his 2020 release, “3.15.20.” This new album promises fresh takes on previous works and includes awaited tracks like the unreleased “Human Sacrifice” and a collaboration with Young Nudy titled “Little Big Foot.”
Beyond “Atavista,” Glover is set to release a final Childish Gambino album, which will double as a soundtrack for his forthcoming film, “Bando Stone & The New World.” This project is slated for release this summer and is aimed to satisfy the hunger of his dedicated fanbase. The soundtrack, along with the movie, will be available through RCA, marking a significant chapter in Glover’s diverse and dynamic career.
The announcement came amid Glover’s surprise appearance at Coachella, where he performed alongside Tyler, the Creator, adding to the weekend’s buzz. As Glover prepares to close his chapter as Childish Gambino, these new projects not only promise to enhance his musical legacy but also to deepen his impact on the arts and entertainment landscape.
