Dolly Parton is Opening a Museum and Dolly Land Center in Nashville

Dolly Parton has decided to establish both a museum and Dolly Land Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She told the Tennessean that she wants to open her museum in the next few years, Stating that, “I’m going to have a museum here [in Nashville] pretty soon.”

The museum will be only a part of a larger complex that Parton calls, “Dolly Center.” Dolly went on to say, “We have the museum at Dollywood, of course, but I would love to have something here since this is really my home.” Parton added, “And I may have a restaurant or a bar and grill [in the future as well], Right now though, I’ve got so many things going. I can do without that for the moment. But someday I will have a business here.”

Meanwhile, Parton has a new movie-musical, Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas, that is set to air on December first on NBC. She is also planned to co-host Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party with her goddaughter Miley Cyrus that will air on NBC Saturday, December 31st.
