Denver Wins the Big One

In what was one of the more surprising championship games of the 21st century, the Denver Broncos took down the Carolina Panthers 24-10. Denver was led by their defense and the MVP of the game, Von Miller. Miller’s domination was seen through his pass rushing skills.

In the first quarter, his first of 2.5 sacks directly led to a fumble and defensive touchdown for the Broncos. They would never be trailing in this game, which was new for Carolina. Carolina went the entire season without being in the lead at least once in each game.

Peyton Manning, we hope, goes out on top after his second championship win. He had a lack luster day (141 passing yards, zero touchdowns, one interception), but neither did Cam Newton (265 passing yards, 45 rushing yards, three turnovers).

Congrats to the Denver Broncos on their unpredictable run and impressive win on the main stage!
