David Beckham is known for his soccer skills, but every now and then these athletes show that they are more than just a superstar talent. They show that they are human and care for those around them. David is most definitely one of these athletes and he really showed it in 2015.
The Sunday Times Giving List has released their top 10 charitable celebrities from UK and David Beckham is easily on the list. He sits at number three behind Elton John and JK Rowling. Beckham gave 5 million pounds in 2015 because of his work with The Victoria and David Beckham Charitable Trust. He also worked with Unicef, so it’s easy to see how he was the third highest among those UK celebrities.
Others on the list included a few golfers, Rory McIlroy and Colin Montgomerie. Rory with his work with The Rory Foundation and Colin with his work with the Charities Aid Foundation.
