Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in soccer, and there are a ton of great players all over the globe, and it was decided by FIFA just the other day that he was the male player of the year. The award was handed out the other night in London, making it two years in a row and the fifth time he’s won this one.
Ronaldo plays forward for Real Madrid, being a bigger and bigger star by the minute. His fame has spread across the globe these past few years and so has his game. Lionel Messi was the runner-up for this award for the second year in a row.
The FIFA female player of the year was Lieke Martens with Carli Lloyd and Deyna Castellanos finishing in second and third. Congratulations to all of those that were honored Monday night in London.
