Eric Clapton may be the greatest guitarist of our time, having played in some of the most influential bands. One of those bands was Cream, consisting of Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric. The band’s biggest chart hits were “I Feel Free,” “Sunshine of Your Love,” “White Room,” “Crossroads” and “Badge.”
Now, Cream’s debut album ‘Fresh Cream’ is being released in a reissue in late January of next year, celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the original date. The release will be a three-CD + blu-ray audio package, consisting of mono and sterol mixes of original songs from that era, including outtakes and BBC sessions recorded around the time of the album’s original release in December 1966.
The Fresh Cream: Deluxe Edition package will also include a book that stories, essays, and ‘never been seen’ photos of the boys in hotel rooms and on stage. An additional release of six discs is scheduled to be released in April of 2017.
