Corey Taylor Ranks Feuds With Limp Bizkit, MGK, and Nickelback While Battling Hot Wings on Hot Ones

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor is no stranger to fiery feuds, but spicy hot wings proved to be a different kind of challenge for the rocker. In a new episode of Hot Ones Versus released on Tuesday (Oct. 1), Taylor and bandmate Shawn “Clown” Crahan donned their iconic masks while facing off against a platter of tastebud-tormenting wings.

During the episode, Taylor avoided a particularly scorching bite by ranking three of his infamous music industry feuds: Limp Bizkit, MGK (Machine Gun Kelly), and Nickelback.

At the top of his list? Limp Bizkit. Taylor explained that his beef was less with the band and more with frontman Fred Durst, saying, “It was just about what Fred represented at the time.”

Next in line was MGK. Despite their 2021 public spat, Taylor admitted he initially had respect for the rapper-turned-rocker. “We butted heads ego-wise and creatively,” Taylor revealed, referencing a collaboration with MGK and Travis Barker that never materialized.

Finally, Taylor ranked his feud with Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger last, calling the band “a musical echo.” However, he softened his stance by acknowledging, “There’s some stuff of theirs that I like.”

Throughout the episode, Crahan also had fun criticizing the masks of other musicians like Daft Punk and Marshmello, while professing admiration for Britney Spears, calling her “the real deal.”

The duo wrapped up the episode with a surprise celebration of Slipknot’s debut album’s 25th anniversary, complete with a piñata. The band is set to continue their anniversary tour with shows in Latin America and Europe later this year.
