Thinking about a kitchen remodel? The days of stainless steel, matchy-matchy appliances is out. You’ll still find these in all the showrooms, but you’ll be dating your house all the way back to the early 2,000’s. The number one trend right now is color.
If you want to get ahead of the Jones’s, start with a refrigerator in bright primary color, an exciting finish, or painted like a British telephone booth.
You could also splurge on an expensive, brightly colored, fancy stove, hood or cooktop. While most of these ain’t cheap (brands like La Corpue could set you back anywhere from $15K to $30K) this is a solid trend that’s not going away. High style cook tops, hoods, stoves and ovens in the brightest of brights are the hottest ticket in town!
If you want a less expensive way to brighten up the joint, break out the paintbrush and color up those cabinets and drawers in any hue you choose. And hey, if you wake up the next morning and have color remorse, you can always paint over it.
