Actress Christina Hendricks is starring in her first big role this weekend with the opening of the movie, ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night,’ a film about a family being terrorized by a group of psychopaths. The film may not get an Oscar nod next year, but Christina is sure excited about it. We formally met Christina in the 50s, or the set of AMC’s ‘Mad Men’s as she generated tremendous excitement in her role as Joan Harris, a character that earned her multiple Screen Actor and Critics Choice awards.
Christina Rene Hendricks was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, growing up in Twin Falls, Idaho, and moving one more time to Fairfax, Virginia for her high school years. Although she’s starred in only a handful of films, 2018 is going to be a very busy year for her on the silver screen she’s also appearing in ‘Egg’ and ‘The Burning Woman’ both expected to be released later this year.
