Country music fans in Oklahoma City were treated to a night they won’t soon forget as Grammy-nominated artist Chris Young took the stage at Scissortail Park for a free concert, presented by local credit unions. The event, held at the picturesque Great Lawn, drew thousands of enthusiastic spectators eager to enjoy live music after a prolonged period of limited entertainment options.
The concert was not only a celebration of music but also a tribute to the strength and resilience of the community. Attendees included survivors of the Oklahoma City bombing, such as Amy Downs and Dave Willis, who found solace and joy in the power of music to heal.
Thanks to the generous support of Tinker Federal Credit Union and Love’s Travel Stops, the unforgettable evening showcased the magic of country music and its ability to bring people together in unity and harmony.
