Charli XCX has been forced to cancel one of the final U.S. dates of her Music, Fashion, Film Tour after an ongoing illness left her unable to sing.
The British pop star announced that her scheduled October 21 performance in Glendale, Arizona, would not go ahead after she completely lost her voice. The cancellation came just two days before the tour’s final U.S. stop in Las Vegas.
According to the singer, she had been dealing with health issues throughout the current stretch of performances but had reached a point where continuing was no longer possible.
The three-time Grammy Award winner expressed her disappointment in a message to fans, explaining how much energy and emotion she puts into every performance. She also recognized the inconvenience the cancellation would cause for concertgoers who had made travel arrangements and other plans to attend.
Unfortunately, rescheduling the Arizona concert was not possible. Charli confirmed that refunds would be provided and assured fans that she intends to return to the state for a future performance.
Despite the setback, the singer remains hopeful about completing the U.S. portion of the tour. She is resting her voice ahead of the scheduled October 23 concert in Las Vegas, where she hopes to reunite with fans and close out the American run.
The Music, Fashion, Film Tour launched September 11 in Philadelphia and is scheduled to continue with international performances through February 24, 2027, when it is expected to conclude in Paris.
For Charli, the unexpected cancellation interrupts an ambitious touring schedule that combines her music career with her creative interests in fashion and film.
While the Arizona performance will not be rescheduled, the singer has made it clear that returning to the stage remains a priority. For now, her attention is on recovering in time for Las Vegas and giving the U.S. tour leg the finale she had planned.
