Chappell Roan is just as much a fan of Sabrina Carpenter as the rest of us!
During a recent livestream, the “Red Wine Supernova” singer revealed her favorite tracks from Carpenter’s latest album, Short n’ Sweet, highlighting songs like “Taste” and “Juno” as standouts.
“I love her,” Roan shared. “Her whole project feels so well-thought-out and genuine. She really does an amazing job.”
Carpenter has also shown her support for Roan, previously covering Roan’s hit “Good Luck, Babe!” for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge in June. In a conversation with Rolling Stone, Carpenter spoke about their friendship and mutual admiration, saying, “I’ve been just as obsessed with her as everyone else. It’s so surreal when we hang out as two young women and then see each other transform on stage.”
Both pop stars have had a whirlwind year. Carpenter scored a pair of chart-toppers on the Billboard Global 200 earlier this summer with “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” both featured on her freshly released sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet. Meanwhile, Roan’s debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, has climbed into the Billboard 200’s top 10, nearly nine months after its release, with hits like “Good Luck Babe,” “Red Wine Supernova,” and “Hot to Go!” also making waves on the Billboard Hot 100.
