A frightening weekend turned into relief for Carrie Underwood and her family after a fire broke out at their 400-acre Tennessee residence. Fortunately, the country superstar, her husband Mike Fisher, their sons Isaiah and Jacob, and their pets emerged from the incident unharmed.
The blaze erupted late Sunday evening, prompting a swift response from the Williamson County Fire and Rescue. The department received an emergency call at 9:42 p.m., reporting a fire at the family’s home. According to their statement, all eight of their stations, along with a tanker and crew from Fairview Fire, responded to the scene, finding the garage fully engulfed in flames.
“The homeowner reported that a UTV was on fire next to the garage,” the fire department stated. Their prompt action, coupled with the presence of a 10,000-gallon water reservoir on the property, allowed firefighters to quickly contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading to the main residence.
Carrie Underwood’s representative confirmed to E! News that the fire was “quickly contained” and that the primary house suffered no damage. “All occupants in the home were able to escape unharmed. No injuries were sustained by the occupants or firefighters on scene,” the statement read.
The cause of the fire is believed to be the UTV, although the investigation is still ongoing.
This incident underscores the importance of quick emergency response and the value of having safety measures in place. While the fire was a distressing event for the Underwood-Fisher family, the swift containment and the safety of all family members and pets provided a reassuring outcome.
