It was three years ago that Amy Bowen accused and sued Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley of copyright infringement. The two had sung a wonderful duet called “Remind Me,” but Bowen had said that they had stolen the song from her song with the same title.
It was in 2013 that Bowen was allowed to go to trial with her case, but just this weekend we heard that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have won the case. A federal judge has ruled them not guilty of any copyright infringement issues.
Carrie and Brad’s “Remind Me” was released in 2011 and ended up selling two million units. What a hit it was and now they can relax knowing they don’t this case hanging over their heads.
