One of the brightest songwriters of the 60s and 70s Burt Bacharach and legendary singer and songwriter Carole King are joining forces with Elvis Costello for a collaborative LP called ‘Look Away’ scheduled for release in mid-October.
Burt Bacharach wrote many of the top songs in the 70s but has remained contemporary of the years by working with hip artists like Elvis. He and Elvis actually worked on an earlier 1998 project called ‘Painted from Memory.’ Carole lent her lyrical genius to the tracks, while 12 songs are enough, there are four ‘bonus’ tracks in the ‘Look Away’ project. Perhaps the best song on the album was written by Carole, “Burt Sugar is So Bitter” so be sure to check it out this October.
