Carly Rae Jepsen Brings ‘Too Much’ to ‘Late Late Show’

On Thursday night, May 16th, Carly Rae Jepsen was in a celebratory mood during her visit to The Late Late Show to perform the chilled-out pop track “Too Much.”

Wearing a silvery mini-dress that echoed the glint of the giant disco ball spinning slowly above her head, Jepsen sang, “Is this too, is this too/ Is this too much?” as her vocals were doubled by two female back-up singers in all-white suits that made them look like extras from The Leftovers. Jepsen took the dimly lit stage, that was decorated with a neon sign with the title of her just-released fourth album, Dedicated. Jepsen swayed in place to the song’s spare island groove.

After a year of teasing, on Friday morning, May 17th, JepHeads finally got the full taste of Dedicated. When the 15-track album was released, there were a series of preview tracks including “Party For One,” “Now That I Found You,” No Drug Like Me” and “Julien.”
