Every music fan knows what a Grammy is. Every Canadian music fan knows what a Juno Award is. Each award is considered the highest form of recognition a singer, band or song writer can earn in their respective countries.
Recently, it was announced that Bryan Adams will perform at the 2016 Juno Awards, held this year at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on Sunday, April 3. Bryan is also a nominee. What other stars are we familiar with who have won the coveted Juno award?
Bryan of course has won the Juno award many times, as has Anne Murray, Celine Dion, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Alanis Morissette, Shania Twain, Gordon Lightfoot, Nickelback, Michael Buble, Nelly Furtado, Loverboy, Neil Young, Sarah McLachlan, k.d. lang, David Foster, Barenaked Ladies, Dan Hill, and Justin Bieber.
Anne Murry, Bryan Adams and Celine Dion have earned the most Juno’s, while Celine has been nominated the most – 70 times.
