Bono Announced A Book Tour titled ‘Stories of Surrender’

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Bono is set for a book tour in support of his upcoming autobiography, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story. The book is releasing worldwide on November first and one day later the book tour will begin at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. He will then continue to stop in several United States cities before going overseas for dates on the U.K., Ireland, Germany, France, and Spain. Tickets for his book tour are available starting October seventh and every ticket will include a copy of the book. Bono made a press release where he stated that, “I miss being onstage and the closeness of U2’s audience, In these shows, I’ve got some stories to sing, and some songs to tell. …Plus I want to have some fun presenting my ME-moir, Surrender, which is really more of a WE-moir if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here.”

Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story is divided into 40 chapters, with each chapter named after a U2 song along with 40 original drawings from Bono himself. Bono said in an earlier statement that, “When I started to write this book, I was hoping to draw in detail what I’d previously only sketched in songs, The people, places and possibilities in my life. Surrender is a word freighted with meaning for me.”
