Bob Seger’s Early Works Re-Released This Fall

Bob Seger will resume his 2017 tour later this fall, a journey that was halted by much needed surgery on Bob’s back. If you can’t wait for his tour to begin, head out to your favorite record store or streaming platform for his latest library release called ‘Heavy Music: The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967, ‘a project that will feature Bob’s early 60s discography.

‘Heavy Music: The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967’ will contain 10 songs that come from his ‘Bob Seger and the Last Heard’ including “Heavy Music” “East Side Story” “Sock it to Me Santa’ and “Persecution Smith.”

Bob would often have his Motown pal Glenn Frey come by and add background vocals to his early stuff, the music made in the Cameo Record label. After the label folded, Bob moved over to Capitol Records, changing the name of the band to ‘The Bob Seger System.

‘Heavy Music: The Complete Cameo Recordings 1966-1967,’ is due out in early September.
