It’s been since 2011 that Blink 182 has released a new album, but it’s looking like we are going to get another album from the band sometime this year. Travis Barker, the drummer, has confirmed that the band has worked countless hours in the studio in recent months to put together something great for us. In total, he says that the band has recorded over 20 songs, but wants to select between 12 and 14 for the album.
Tom DeLonge, lead vocals, left the band quite some time ago, but Matt Skiba is here to replace him. He’s been a part of the band for a year now and him, Barker, and the rest of the band have been very dedicated to this upcoming album. A release date has not been announced, but we’re hoping it’ll be ready before 2017 rolls around.
