Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler is Suffering from Pneumonia

Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath’s wife, Gloria Butler, went on social media to post a picture of him at a medical facility, with a face mask on. She also revealed that he was diagnosed with Pneumonia after almost every other condition was ruled out by doctors. You can tell by the tone of his wife’s post that Geezer will likely be just fine after all.

She stated, “After day one at doctor with my husband and was told he was negative for flu, Covid, strep and tonsillitis, I said ‘well, he’s positive for being a pain in my arse.’ Day two at doctor he was told he has pneumonia. Although still positive for being a pain, I now feel guilty for thinking that.”

Gloria also managed a supergroup Heaven & Hell that featured Geezer along with guitarist Tony Lommi, vocalist Ronnie James Dio and drummer Vinny Appice. Black Sabbath officially made the choice to split up in 2017, but Lommi and singer Ozzy Osbourne reunited at this year’s Commonwealth Games in the band’s hometown of Birmingham.
