Black Panther, the movie, has done amazingly in the theaters and we think part of the reason why is because of the music within the movie. What a great combination these two are and there are so many hits from the soundtrack on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart! This chart takes a look at the hottest hits in all of music, so you’ll see rock, rap, R&B, contemporary music and everything in between on this one.
The soundtrack has been discussed here before, but why stop now?! It sees nine of its songs inside the chart showing off the hottest 100 songs in music. We talked about the great collaborations on the album before it was released and we think that’s part of the reason why it’s doing so well. Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All the Stars” has reached the top 10 while “Pray for Me” from The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar sits just outside of it at number 11.
Other hits from the soundtrack on the Hot 100 include “King’s Dead,” “X,” “The Ways,” “Paramedic!” “Big Shot,” and “Black Panther.” All but one of those songs is a collaboration with at least two artists.
