Bill Cosby, considered America’s first dad, has been found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault, convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in Philadelphia in 2004 at his home. Cosby, who is 80, could face a lengthy prison term, up to 10 years on each count. The feisty Cosby reacted poorly when the verdict was read; exchanging profanities with attorneys during the bail portion after the verdict was announced.
Bill Cosby’s fall from grace was self-inflicted, a shame considering he was a groundbreaking actor (breaking the color barrier in ‘I Spy’ in the 60’s, becoming a national spokesperson for Jell-O Pudding) growing into an American icon as the epicenter for the ‘Cosby Show’ in the 80’s.
Judge Steven O’Neill declared Bill Cosby to remain in his home, wearing a GPS device during his pending sentencing.
