Typically, sound equipment or studio gear is not something you think of buying, but how would you like to own a limited edition microphone created by Shure? Shure has manufactured 300 total, 10 of which have been signed by the Who’s Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey. If you’re a music buff, this is a must have.
The promotion has been created by the legendary sound studio manufacturer Shure to help celebrate of the 50th anniversary of their famous SM58 mic. This model of Shure microphone can be heard on all your favorite songs from the mid-60s to now.
The microphones that have not been signed will be set at a firm $300 per (they do have the 50th anniversary designation however) and the signed mics will be auctioned off, the bidding began this week, ending April 27th. Proceeds of the autographed microphones will be donated to various pet charities of the Who and Paul McCartney.
