In partnership with online therapy provider Better Help, Ariana Grande announced that, in honor of World Mental Health Day this past Sunday, she will be donating up to $5 million in free therapy.
The pop star speaks about the importance of taking care of one’s own mental health but does not deny the inequitable accessibility that often prevents people from reaching out.
“I acknowledge that there are very real barriers when it comes to accessing mental health resources,” Grande explains of her second collaboration with Better Help, following a $1 million donation of free therapy back in June. She hopes to inspire her fans and others to “try something new and prioritize [their] own healing.”
