Arcade Fire has just been added to Coachella 2022’s already-exciting lineup.
Yesterday, the festival’s lineup, including performance times and locations, was released. The alternative band’s name was a pleasant surprise to everyone, as they were not included in the initial announcements made weeks ago.
According to a representative for the band, Arcade Fire will only be performing on Friday, April 15, from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm at the Mojave Tent.
The performance comes a few weeks before the rockers plan to release their newest album WE on May 6.
Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and Swedish House Mafia with the Weeknd are the official headlining acts at this year’s Coachella. The festival, taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California from April 15-17 and April 22-24, also includes performances from Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Danny Elfman, Doja Cat, Run the Jewels, Jamie xx, Carly Rae Jepsen, Vince Staples, Japanese Breakfast, Baby Keem, Caribou, and many more.
