Andy Grammer and Aretha Franklin Perform in Detroit

Thanksgiving day football is a huge event in Detroit, Michigan and two stars came back to the Motor City to play during the big Lions and Vikings game. Aretha Franklin had the honor of playing the National Anthem while Andy Grammer was the halftime performer.

Aretha’s performance was quite impressive, more because she lasted 4+ minutes than anything else. She played the piano beautifully as well, part of the reason why it took so long.

Andy Grammer performed his recent hit, “Fresh Eyes,” in quite an interesting way. He laid on the turf while being surrounding be Lions cheerleaders. He sounded great and eventually got up to perform with a bunch of young Lions fans jumping around him. They would lift him up and take him to the stage to perform “Good to Be Alive.” His final song performed would be “Honey, I’m Good.” Well done Andy!
