Aerosmith is raking in the Dough on Deuces Are Wild Vegas Residency

It’s no secret that the Park Theater at the MGM in Las Vegas hosts massive acts, but Aerosmith is blowing ticket sales out of the water. The rockers’ Deuces Are Wild residency dominates the Current Boxscore chart at Nos. 1 and 3 and steals the No. 2 spot on the Hot Tours ranking dated Oct. 19, 2019. The band’s run from Sept. 21 to Oct. 6 grossed $6.5 million and sold 29,805 tickets, according to figures reported to Boxscore.

These new reports push the residency’s totals to $31.1 million in grosses and 151,837 tickets sold since opening on April 6. The enduring rock superheroes have played 24 shows at their Vegas home base, plus a smattering of shows at other MGM locations around the country (three at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon, Md., and four at MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.).

The Sept. 21, 23, and 28 shows ($3.4 million; 15,132 tickets) marks Aerosmith’s first engagement atop the Boxscore chart since the April 30, 2007-dated tally with a performance at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina ($3.9 million; 71,871 tickets), and their fifth chart-topping appearance overall.
