The MLB Rookie of the Year voting took place on Monday and there were two clear and obvious choices for each league. Who here doesn’t think that Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger aren’t deserving of this one over everyone else? Well, the voters agreed because they both received all 30 of the votes, making them both unanimous winners.
Aaron Judge wowed us all season long with his monstrous home runs while Bellinger also showed off a power stroke, hitting 39 home runs. Amazingly, Bellinger wasn’t even called up to the Dodgers until April 25, meaning he played 2-3 weeks less of baseball than everyone else. Bellinger showed versatility all over the field as well playing over 90 games at first base and over 45 in the outfield.
Congratulations to both Judge and Bellinger on their Rookie of the Year honors!
