A new Roy Orbison LP will hit the stores shelves November 3rd, and it’s called “A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.” The new LP will have 15 songs, ranging from re-master or new versions of his classics from the 60s and in the 80s, to completely new songs altogether.
It’s a family affair, as three of Roy’s boys contributed to the album, Alex, Roy Jr, and Wesley all contributed their musical talents to the project. Roy died at the age young age of 52 on December 6th, 1988. How significant was his career? Well, he’s in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the coveted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
