On Monday, March 23rd, rock band Haim took to social media to announced that they are postponing the release of their upcoming third album, Women in Music Pt. III, from April 24 to an as-yet-undetermined date this summer due to travel complications and quarantine enforcements.
Covid-19 has taken over the world, and because of that, live concert organizers began postponing and canceling everything from small shows to whole tours to prevent large gatherings where the disease can spread. Now, artists in every genre are pushing back their spring album releases until closer to summer.
“We had so many amazing things planned-trips to europe & australia as well as tour where we would all dance and sing together,” the Los Angeles-based band tweeted. “in the meantime, we are gonna be dropping some new tunes.”
