Maren Morris Wishes Jimmy Kimmel a Happy Birthday

On Wednesday night, November 13th, Maren Morris stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live!  to surprise host Jimmy Kimmel with a hilarious song for his 52nd birthday.

Jimmy was dumbfounded and confused, asking the country star why she was in Los Angeles when she was also supposed to be in Nashville for the CMA Awards, he was even more confused once she launched into the song she had “written” for him.

“James Christian Kimmel/ Born November 13, 1967/ Is an American television host and producer/ He’s the host and executive producer of/ Jimmy Kimmel Live!/ A late-night talk show that premiered on ABC,” Morris rattled off over acoustic guitar as the audience clapped along. However, as the song continued, it became increasingly clear that the country star, clad in a midriff-baring green top and matching pants, was simply reading facts from Kimmel’s Wikipedia page.

By the time people caught on to her robotic lyrics, Morris came clean about her ghost writer. “Ok, fine, it is. I had a really busy week and I didn’t have time to write you a special little birthday song. So I went on Wikipedia. How old are you anyway?” she asked before uproariously mixing Kimmel’s Wikipedia page up with none other than former president Jimmy Carter.
