Any band you can think of has their own extremely loyal fanbase. Some show up to concerts in merch, and other’s take a leap towards supefandom. Slipknot’s singer Corey Taylor recently ran into a shockingly spot-on Maggot doppelgänger at a backstage meet-and-greet.
In a video posted by a fan account, Taylor is seemingly spooked when he spots a fan dressed up in a very convincing version of his stage outfit from the Gray Chapter period.
The superfan, wearing a mask and jumpsuit with all the right patches greets Taylor, who immediately turns around and dunks his head in a bucket of cold water and yelps before asking the mega-me to sign his belly with a Sharpie. “Now I can leave,” Taylor jokes as the some other fans waiting their turn laugh at the meet and greet.
