Accessories Trends at NYC Fashion Week 2019

The things we see on the runway dictate the trends we’ll wear in the future, so start taking notes on the biggest accessories of 2019. Here are some of the highlights:

Tom Ford brought back Big Fuzzy Bucket Hats, in shades ranging from flourescent lavender to frosty white, and they’re bigger than ever. Also seen at the Ford show: Metallic Scarves reminiscent of Studio 54.

We’re also seeing the return of Bangle Stack Bracelets, but this time with a bold, tribal flair, courtesy of Ulla Johnson.

Statement Earrings are apparently here to stay, and so bold and big, it makes our earlobes hurt just looking at them, as evidenced by Badgley Mischka, Hellessy, Christian Siriano and Ulla Johnson.

Nicole Miller had a thing for Chains and Crucifixes, harkening back to Madonna’s Like A Virgin days.

Turbans were the headgear of choice at Kate Spade.

Adeam adorned with Gold and Pearl necklaces, earrings, and rings, while Christian Siriano chose Sparkling Silver around the neck, in the ears, and even in the hair.

Fun and Funky Sunglasses shaded the eyes of models on the Christian Siriano and Self Portrait catwalks.

R13 went for Animal Print Hats and Big Bangly Necklaces… on their male models.
