The Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack features a contribution from Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme titled “Cruel, Cruel World.” Queens of the Stone Age drummer Jon Theodore is also featured on the video game‘s soundtrack in a different song.
“Cruel, Cruel World” is one of the many songs featured in the game. In addition to the Queens of the Stone Age members, the game also includes contributions from Willie Nelson, Colin Stetson and Arca.
According to Consequence of Sound, Daniel Lanois produced the vocals for the entirety of the album, including “Cruel, Cruel World.” Lanois also wrote the track.In the game, “Cruel Cruel World” plays during the emotional ending credits. You can listen to Homme’s contribution here.
