Ted Nugent returned to the theme of his lack of induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, claiming that there was no human being alive who didn’t think he should receive the honor.
Last year the veteran, who’s been eligible since 2000, said “political correctness” and particularly his membership in the NRA was behind the snub, and in 2011 called his exclusion an “embarrassing denial of historical and current truth and evidence.”
“It’s sacrilege,” Nugent told MyGlobalMind in a recent interview. “It’s ultimately disrespectful and cruel to Chuck (Berry), Bo (Diddley) and Little Richard and all the founding fathers in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Because the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame means something, and I don’t have to explain to you, because you know, and you don’t have to explain it to me.
