‘Little Women’ Features Hollywoods Elite Women

‘Little Women’ based on the classic Louisa May Alcott best-seller celebrates its 50th birthday this year, opened to rave review reviews a few weeks ago, and features today’s biggest stars, including Lea Thompson, Ian Bohen, Lucas Grabeel, Melanie Stone. We think Lea Thompson steals the show in ‘Little Women,’ so let’s spend time sharing her life’s points of interest.

Lea was born in Rochester MN in 1961, and as a young girl became an accomplished ballet dancer, earning scholarships and roles that caught the eye of Mikhail Baryshnikov who didn’t think she had the body type to go further. Mikhail got her to focus on acting, and the rest is history. Although she was terrific in ‘Howard the Duck’ and ‘Space Camp’ we fell in love with her in the ‘Back to the Future’ franchise films. She remains close friends with Christopher Lloyd to this day. Did you know that she was engaged to Dennis Quaid for three years, leaving that engagement to marry Howard Deutch? The two have 2 daughters together.
