Could it get any better for Maroon 5? From sold out tours to platinum records, the boys in the band have been on top of the world for a few years. Oh, and now you can add NFL Championship game performers, as Maroon 5 has just been announced as the halftime performers at the NFL championship game in February of 2019.
Did you know that the original and early halftime performers at football’s biggest game used to be the marching bands of local colleges? Over the years, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney, Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen, U2, and The Who have all been the halftime entertainers, and the NFL has tried very hard to find mass appeal brands given the diverse age, gender, and color of its special viewers. The biggest game of the year for professional football is scheduled for February 3rd, 2019, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
