The first Monday Night Football has come and gone and what a night it was! We had excitement all over and great storylines to follow and they did not disappoint.
The Jets debuted their first-round quarterback Sam Darnold in the first game of the night. His first pass will be one to remember as it was a pick-six! Ford Field was rocking, but unfortunately for Lions fans, that was all they had to be excited about. Matt Stafford would look like the rookie in this one throwing four interceptions on the night. Darnold would complete 16 of 21 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns.
The Rams spoiled the debut of former Monday Night Football announcer Jon Gruden. His Raiders would lose 33-13 at home with Todd Gurley and Jared Goff leading the way. Goff threw two touchdown passes while Gurley ran for over 100 yards.
