If you’re a fan of David Coverdale and his open shirt pose, you’re in luck. Whitesnake, the 80s group that hit the charts with “Here I Go Again” “Is This Love” and “Still of the Night” is about to release ‘Unzipped’ a collection of acoustic and unreleased songs in mid-October.
‘Unzipped’ will be available in double-vinyl-LP, single CD, double vinyl and through streaming platforms, and the offering includes the late 90s Japanese only release of ‘Starkers in Tokyo’ which is a rare find indeed. Whitesnake began with David’s departure from the supergroup Deep Purple in the late 70s, and eventually recorded and released 13 albums; their latest ‘Flesh and Blood’ dropping earlier this year. The band will be out on the road for just a few more live appearances, including a stop at Cannafest 2018 in Grand Forks, British Columbia. ‘Unzipped’ will be available in October.
