We Loved the 80s… And Still Do!

The 80s was the decade of the MTV network, internet, tech companies, the second British Invasion, female rock bands, and albums that blew you away. Here (in our opinion) are the 80s albums and performers that still rock today…

‘Synchronicity’ by the Police was the breakout album of 1983, containing the hit singles “Every Breath You Take,” “King of Pain,” and “Wrapped Around Your Finger.” Michael Jackson released his album “Thriller,” “Back in Black” from AC/DC and U2’s “The Joshua Tree” proved that the 80s were a decision to be reckoned with.

Van Halen’s “1984” “Graceland” from Paul Simon, “Brothers in Arms” from Hall of Fame band Dire Straits, and “Purple Rain” from Price showed off the diversity of the 80s. The Pretenders, Bob Seger, Kenny Loggins, Rush, Journey, Black Sabbath and Phil Collins all contributed to the best decade of music since the 60s.
