There aren’t many women in rock and roll, fewer in the early 60s that made as big a contribution the craft than Joni Mitchell. We are pleased to report that as we speak she’s in good health, with the better news that her 1970 ‘Isle of Wight Festival’ performance will soon be made available on digitally remastered Blu-Ray September 14th in a home movie.
Called the ‘Joni Mitchell Both Sides Now: Live at the Isle of Wight Festival’ project, captures Joni in all her glory in 1970 during the five-day UK music festival. The film displays Joni singing “Big Yellow Taxi” “Woodstock,” “Both Sides Now” and her signature tune “Chelsea Morning,” with 11 songs overall to enjoy.
Be sure to catch the ‘Joni Mitchell Both Sides Now: Live at the Isle of Wight Festival’ Joni Mitchell home movie in mid-September.
