‘Star Wars: Episode IX’s Actors John Boyega and Mark Hamill Will Never Quite Recover

Carrie Fisher died December 27th, 2016 and her mother Debbie Reynolds died December 17th the very next day, in what had to be the strangest of all mother-daughter goodbyes. Sadly, Carrie was not around to witness the latest Star Wars film, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ hitting theaters months from her death, were thrilled to report that she will appear in the latest Star Wars film ‘Star Wars: Episode IX.’ The news is bittersweet for director J.J. Abrams and co-stars John Boyega and Mark Hamil. Check out Mark’s Twitter post here…

It seems that director J.J. Abrams had Carrie Fisher footage not used in the ‘Force Awakens’ film from a few years ago, so that work product will be used in the next installment of the franchise, again ‘Star Wars: Episode IX,’ scheduled to be released in December 2019. Also starring in the 2019 Star Wars film includes Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Sutamo as Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Lupita Nyong’o.

Although we won’t have the Princess in life, we will have her on film in the latest installment – ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ in December of 2019.
